Lake Tekapo

I didn't spend any time in lake Tekapo - my bus only stopped there for a short comfort spot. I did have the opportunity to visit the bronze statue of a sheep dog and the famous Church of the Good Shepherd.

A girl I met who stayed there a week claims it is "the best place ever", probably for the same reasons I claim Wanaka to be the same.

It was rather cold, windy and generally stormy looking, but I thought it looked rather dramatic this way.
